Questions
- Do I need an account for Pro?
- No. Pro turns on in the browser you buy it in as soon as you have paid. On another device, open "Your plan" in the app and enter your licence key: the "Transaction ID" on Paddle's receipt, which starts with txn_. "Your plan" on the first device shows it too. There is no account and no sign-in.
- On how many devices can I use Pro?
- On up to 4 of your devices at once, with the same licence key, and a team gets 4 for each person. "Your plan" in the app lists them, and a device can be removed there to make room for another.
- What counts as a device?
- Each browser on each device, so clearing a browser's data, or using a private window, makes a new one. "Your plan" lists them and can remove one. A device not used for a week can be removed at any time, one in use up to 3 times in 30 days, and a device not used for 60 days frees its place by itself.
- Does Pro send my files anywhere?
- No. Pro works as the free tools do: everything happens in your browser, and nothing about your documents is sent anywhere.
- Does Pro work offline?
- Yes. Pro is checked in your browser with no network. Once a month it checks in with the licence server while you are online, and it keeps working for up to six weeks without. In the first 14 days after buying, it also checks each day it opens.
- Can I get my money back?
- Yes. Within 14 days of buying you can withdraw without giving a reason and get your payment back in full. For a subscription the first payment counts; you can cancel at any time.
- Do I get an invoice?
- Yes. Paddle, the seller, sends it with your receipt.
- Is a licence per person or per company?
- Per person: one licence, on up to 4 of that person's devices, private or work. Team covers 3 to 50 people with one key.
- Can I use the free tools at work?
- Yes. Work use is allowed on the free tools, with no account.
