Print a PDF as a booklet, or several pages to a sheet
Lay the downloaded file out on A3, A4, A5, Letter or Legal paper, two or four pages to a sheet, or in booklet order so the printed sheets fold into a booklet.
Choosing a paper size is free. Two or four pages to a sheet, and booklet order, are part of Pro. Pricing
How to do it
- Open your PDF.
- Open Document properties (the command key and I), then Paper and printing, and choose the paper size, pages on each sheet, or booklet order. Press Save.
- Press Download, or Print.
You do not have to take our word for it
-
Watch the network
The "Nothing is uploaded" button in the app opens a list of every other site the page has contacted since you opened it, and how often, taken from the browser's own record. Your browser's developer tools show every request, this site's own included.
-
Pull the plug
Once the app has loaded, turn off your network and keep working. Text recognition, the document converter and the handwriting fonts work offline too after their first use.
-
Redaction that removes
A page with something blacked out is saved as a picture of itself, so the text under the box is gone, and every redacted page is checked before the file is saved.
Questions
- In what order are booklet pages placed?
- So that the printed sheets, folded in half and stacked, read in order. Blank pages are added to make a multiple of four.
- Do the pages stay sharp?
- Yes. They are placed on the sheets as they are, not turned into pictures.
- Is anything lost?
- Bookmarks are left out when several pages share a sheet, and forms and comments are fixed into the pages.
- Is it free?
- Choosing a paper size is free. Two or four pages to a sheet, and booklet order, are part of Pro.
